Helen Keller Centenary Memorial Model School for the Blind, Karimpuzha Post, Palakkad is one of the outstanding residential, aided special schools, providing educational facilities to visually impaired children from class I to VII and hostel facility to students from class VIII to X. The School was established in 1980. Now, there are 62 visually impaired students studying in this school. It is a residential school and most of the students are from very poor families. Kerala Federation of the Blind is trying hard to arrange maximum possible facilities for the alround development of our students. 23 staff members of our school are striving hard for this purpose.
